About
ARROW LAI Siu-Wai is a printmaker from Hong Kong. He works primarily with found images and presents them in the forms of prints and installations. His art practice focuses on exploring self-identity within the context of post-colonial Hong Kong and how it has defined his identity as a Hong Konger. Within this topic, Lai is recently studying the issue of post-colonial and concept of using various of printmaking materials for his project.
Arrow graduated with a master's degree in Print from the Royal College of Art, a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University. His works have been exhibited internationally in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, India and Spain, including After, at the ASC Gallery, the Handbag Factory, London, A Curious Cloud at the Soho Revue Gallery, Prologue: HKOP Print Art Contemporary Fundraising Exhibition at PMQ, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, RCA Graduate Show at the Truman Brewery, Impact 11 at Hong Kong Open Printshop.
